Thirty spokes divide the hub of a wheel, yet it is its center that makes it useful.
Clay can be formed into a vessel, but it is its emptiness that makes it useful.
Therefore, something is shaped into what it is.
But its usefulness stems from what it is not.
Tao Te Ching
My work lies at the intersection of art, consciousness, and knowledge.
As an artist, educator, and consciousness researcher, I understand life itself as a continuous education in perception, relationships, and inner transformation.
I have been working in the visual arts for over 40 years. Born and raised in March-Nuolen, I found the ideal conditions in my parents' home to pursue my creative interests.
My research focuses on the subtle transitions between perception, form, and consciousness.
I investigate how color, material, light and structure act as carriers of memory and inner experience – and how art can become a form of knowledge.
Art as Legacy is also an expression of this work. It understands art as a form of consciousness and as a vessel for what people pass on across generations – values, emotions, and unspoken truths.
In my practice, I combine aesthetic design with methods from pedagogy, psychology, and phenomenology.
Each work is created as an exploratory process: a space of resonance in which matter, perception and meaning enter into dialogue.
